1-Castor Oil:
It’s a natural moisturizer that is full of Ricinoleic acid which is an unsaturated Omega-9 fatty acid and hydroxyl acid that lessens the swelling and kills the bacteria of the scalp. Castor Oil is full of Vitamin E, minerals, protein and nutrients that are helpful for healthy hair. It helps to deeply condition the hair, thicken the hair strands and you will get beautiful and shiny hair. Because ricinoleic acid controls the acid level of the scalp, it helps to lessen the risk of dandruff, split ends and hair breakage.
It is a follicle stimulating and nourishing oil. The vitamins, proteins and fatty acids feed the hair follicle nutrients and helps hair growth.
2-Honey:
It is hygroscopic which absorbs water from the air to moisturize the hair and then retain moisture in the hair. When combined with shea butter, the honey helps retain moisture and the shea butter seals the moisture to make the hair softy, shiny and more manageable. Honey holds the hair in place and stops the hair from dropping -defining the natural curl. It keeps the curl in great holding pattern.
3- Argan Oil:
It is called liquid gold, full of vitamin E and Vitamin A, both of which have healing properties. It also contains linoleic acid, antioxidants, and omega-6 fatty acids which are essential for luster, shine, and healthy hair. Argan Oil will tame fizzy hair, repair split ends and protect hair against elements. Argan Oil is an all-natural moisturizer for hair and is not greasy. You don’t need too much for it be effective.
4- Panthenol:
It’s Provitamin B-5. It’s a hair strengthening and thickening agent. Vitamin B-5 absorbs into the hair follicle and makes it strong to prevent the hair from falling. Dry hair needs healing, hydration, and soothing in order to nourish the hair to stop split ends. Anti-inflammatory properties heals the redness of the scalp to make it healthy. It absorbs the moisture from the air and supplies it to the hair follicles to make it strong. Pantothenic acid-which is Provitamin B-5- has been known to slow down hair greying and loss as well.
5-Vitamin E:
It is an antioxidant which helps to reduce the risk of negative effects of free radicals in the hair. It deeply conditions the hair from root to shaft to make it healthier and shiny. It helps to prevent premature greying. Vitamin E nourishes the scalp and makes the hair more lustrous.
6- Hydrolyzed Keratin:
Protein is the main structure of the hair. Keratin is a special fibrous protein which is found in the hair. It protects the outside of the shaft. When the hair is damaged by physical, chemical, atmosphere, heat and/or sun, keratin is depleted and makes the hair porous and weak. We apply hydrolyzed keratin to protect the outside of the hair and create the protective coating to make the hair moisturize and shiny. Hydrolyzed keratin is not small and does not penetrate the hair shaft, but keratin amino acids are small penetrate into the hair shaft. That is why we have also added keratin amino acids in the dream curl crème.
7-Wheat Germ Oil
It is beneficial for treating frizz and dryness of the hair. It contains large amounts of protein, vitamins, and minerals, especially zinc which hydrates the hair in depth and solves the problem of dryness and lack of shine. Large amounts of Vitamins B and E helps to stimulate cell growth and tissue formation, thus making the scalp healthy to keep hair healthy and strong. You know a healthy scalp leads to healthy hair.
8-Cocoa Butter
It is a conditioner and Emollient, hydrating agent, constant moisturizer for rough and dry hair. It helps to eliminate dandruff, manage and enrich the hair to give healthy and glossy shine. It keeps the moisture sealed into the hair.
9-Shea Butter
Very popular in the natural hair community because it is a great moisturizer. Shea Butter is penetrating, healing, softening and moisturizing. It heals and conditions the scalp, tames frizzes and fly aways. Vitamin E and fatty acids lock in the moisture.
10- Silk Amino Acids
91% of the hair is protein. Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein. They are small units of protein which penetrate into the hair shaft to repair the damage done by harsh chemicals, heat styling tools, sun, atmosphere, etc. Amino acids increase the ability to retain moisture in the hair, making it strong and healthy. It penetrates into the hair shaft and bonds the hair into a fiber. Silk Amino Acid are derived from silk fiber as keratin amino acids are derived from sheep’s wool. Silk Amino acids are better than keratin amino acids because of the silk fiber in thinner and softer. Silk Amino acids have smaller molecules and easily penetrate into the hair shaft.
